Digital X-rays

Clearer images with far less radiation than traditional film.

Using the most advanced dental technology possible is just as important as staying up-to-date on the latest treatment techniques. Because our practice is dedicated to providing you with the safest and most convenient treatment options available, we utilize advanced digital X-ray technology in our office.

Digital X-rays provide several advanced imaging options designed to save time, provide clearer dental photos, and expose patients to less radiation than traditional X-ray technology.

Our practice is focused on making your dental experience as comfortable as possible. At your next appointment, we'll be happy to answer any questions you may have.

Common Questions

Are dental X-rays safe?
Digital X-rays use significantly less radiation than traditional film, and we only take them when they will actually change your care. We use protective shielding as well.
How often do I need X-rays?
It depends on your cavity risk and history. Many adults need bitewings about once a year, with a fuller set every few years. We will explain why any X-ray is needed before we take it.
Can I get X-rays while pregnant?
Let us know you are pregnant. Routine imaging is usually postponed, though urgent problems may still need an X-ray with proper shielding, which is considered safe.
